Something that occurred to me this evening at dinner was how this episode connects back to the previous Niska episode in that, in both episodes, stolen medical supplies are at issue. Seems that controlling a black-market business in stealing and reselling medical supplies may be a major part of Niska's racket.
If Mal had been at the top of his game, he might have realized that reselling stolen medical supplies on the planet over which Niska was in orbit could be a move with greater than average risk.
I always pause these when it gets to the exciting or scary part, until my curiosity outweighs my anxiety. I have come to peace with the fact that it will take me hours to watch one of these episodes all the way to the end. See you on the other side.
This one has some hard scenes in it for sure, but itβs worth getting through just close your eyes on the torture scenes. Listen to the dialogue: thatβs how Mal and Wash got through it.
Got a few minutes behind when my DVD crashed, but got it up and running and made it to the end. Another in a series of Firefly favorites (as are they all -- them all? all of them).
Thank you . . . Chicken? I can't call you Chicken. Ballot Feeder? No, that don't seem it, either.
Well, thank you, Chicken ate my Ballot. 'Twas fun!
I try not to overdo it with the Firefly, but I think it may be my favorite series. Every time I watch it, I enjoy it just as much as I did the first time, which was a lot.
Sorry I missed it! I'm on the road. My favorite part of this episode is where Zoe chooses before the bad guy can dick around with her. See you next week!
I recognized the terrain where they were to sell the medicine. It's the Alabama Hills west of Lone Pine, 45 minutes south of me.
It's been a film location for hundreds of movies and TV shows forever.
