We like to imagine ourselves as one of the people who make it to the end in zombie movies, the ones who understand the dangers and act decisively. We want to be the survivors. That's why I like zombie movies.

"Zom 100" (aka "Bucket List of the Dead: 100 Things I Want to do Before I Become a Zombie") has a protagonist who has spent his short life up until the apocalypse working for a "black company", where he barely has enough time and energy to come home (usually after 30-40 hours straight at work), eat instant food and collapse in bed. So when the zombie apocalypse comes, he decides that he's going to live his best life -- thus the title. He's contrasted with a young woman he encounters who has her own list -- "100 Things to Keep from Becoming a Zombie" -- who lives her whole post-apocalypse life trying to minimize her risk and maximize her survival chances, at the expense of having anything like a life.
I'm old and fat, and need insulin, so I don't see me being an action hero who manages to survive. So I might try to take Our Hero's approach instead, I dunno.
