Substack is the home for great culture
When I checked out this DVD from the library yesterday the librarian commented what a great movie this was and it was one of her favorites. I've never seen it, although the trailer reminded me of Blade Runner.
I love the Fifth Element even though it is not perfect. There are some scenes that don't work and it is definitely not even. But there are so many touches of genius that I am willing to forgive the whole.
