It had been a week since we last saw Ms. Calico. Everyday Harry would get on the ledge by the kitchen window and look for that beautiful multi-colored face. He would sit there for an hour waiting. But she never came.
In her place was a different human and even worse this human had a DOG! What had this miserable mutt done with his beloved, Harry wanted to get his claws into the interloper and get answers. Harry had not seen the beast, but I (his human servant) had seen the canine on the balcony and a different part of the apartment.
Harry reached out to Batcat to see if they could help, but Batcat was too busy lounging in the sun. I suspect Batcat may not be who they say they are.
But then she appeared. Stretching in the window and looking for Harry. I called to him, come quick, your love has returned!
Where had she been? The mystery did not matter for now. Because she was back.
