EPISODE 2 May the fourth be with you!
Today we blast off with Tropicana Cherry, a sativa dominant hybrid. The lavender colored buds surprised me when I opened the package. At first appearing black but when seen under bright light the pretty pop of purple could shine through, and I love me some purple! Not strong smelling but hints of a floral cleaner.
When ground up this weed keeps its violet hues. Looking like the ground lavender found in pretty ceramic bowls on the backs of toilets.
I expected a rush of energy that didn’t come. But I found it good for the little push I needed to start writing this post. As for flavor it has a spicy cilantro taste that is not overpowering.
The Altimeter Reading:
The Tree Topper. Flies at low altitude but will get you there.
Since today is a smoke two joints kind of day Tropicana Cherry was a good first choice.
Let’s get grinding.

The grinder is in 4 parts. The top piece attaches via a magnet. The other pieces all screw together. Put your selection of buds into the top section, push them down a little onto the grooved bits. The lid then goes on top. Give it a few twists, if there is too much bud it will be difficult to turn. Open the top and most of the ground bud should have fallen through the holes. Any larger bits can be removed carefully (the grinder can have sharp parts.)

Once the next section is removed you will find your ground bud ready for rolling. The last layer holds a treasure. Below the screen piece you will find the sifted kief. Good for saving up, add to a joint for an extra boost. Plenty of uses for kief and with a grinder you don’t lose the precious green powder.
Thanks for reading!
Episode 3 of All Potted Up On The Weed will be May 18. For Wonkette Movie Night we will be watching The Mummy (1999.)
I have loved pot ever since I first tried it at age 14❣️It’s made everything in life a lot better. Now that I have Complex PTSD, high level anxiety and bad nerves.. it’s therapy with the same good feeling as watching my 1st grandbaby being born every single day!!
I just picked up the habit again after a few years and this variety was my first purchase at a dispensary. I was surprised by the color myself and I’ve been enjoying it for about two months. Tree topper indeed, it was a good choice for me.
