Lilac Diesel

Lilac Diesel is a balanced hybrid with the THC at 19.92%. This weed has a wonderful scent with a mix of lemon and lilacs, it is one of the better smelling strains I have come across. It is a nice pale green with a scattering of dark orange hairs. It has a fine dusting of white. Breaking up a large bud to put in the grinder and I am left with sticky fingers, but the bud still grinds up easily.

A great addition to the New York skyline!

If you haven’t tried using a humidity packet/ terpene shield, do it! It revives dried bud and keeps your stash from getting crunchy! You just drop the packet in with your weed and leave it. The dispensary I use has started including them in the containers of cannabis they sell. I ordered a 10 pack from Amazon, fairly inexpensive and so worth it.

Lotsa of fun to operate but takes some practice or you’ll crash it. Can give you a nice view of your surroundings but the buzzing may annoy the neighbors. Best for a sunny Saturday with the windows open, music turned up and you are focused on a creative task. Like writing!

Magic Loaded Potato Skins

INGREDIENTS:

Russet potatoes

Sour cream

Chives, or green onions.

Bacon bits or crumbled bacon

Your choice of shredded cheese

Salt and pepper

Magic butter (recipe to come in the next post, just use regular butter and smoke a joint as a substitution)

Heat oven to 350° and line a cookie sheet with foil, stab your potatoes a couple of times and put in the oven.

Bake until the centers are soft, 40 minutes to an hour. When the potatoes are soft inside, take them out and allow them to cool so that you can handle them. Slice them in half scoop out the middles leaving about a quarter of an inch all the way around and then brush with your magic butter inside and out.

Save the middles of the potatoes and reserve for another recipe. At this point you can sprinkle them with some cheese and return them to the oven at 450° or you can put them under the broiler. Add a little bit of bacon at the very end.

Bake or broil them until they’re nice and crispy, I chose to put mine under the broiler in a cast-iron pan, rather than bake them. When they’re all done, add a little bit of sour cream and top them up with green onions and some more cheese, and then serve them with sides of cheese, onions, and more sour cream.

I figured that each one of these potato skins is about 10 to 15 mg of THC when using cannabutter.
